Take a Hike with the Hilltown Land Trust

A 2 hour history Hike with Hilltown Land Trust will be held Monday, July 2, on a scenic forested landscape once owned by Russell Conwell - RSVP to HLTlandsteward@thetrustees.org or  413-628-4485 ext. 4  

Free Community Yoga Class

Eileen Daneri will hold a free all levels yoga class on Sunday July 1 – open to all, at the Town Hall. All props provided.  

WORTHINGTON: "I Remember When"

Valley Eye Radio, which  broadcasts local news and information for the reading impaired, will be setting up a portable recording studio in Worthington on Saturday during the Worthington 250 Celebration.  


You are invited to share a story or two.  Interviews will be approximagely 10-15 minutes each.  Please contact Kate Ewald at ewald.kate@worthingtonhistoricalsociety.org to reserve your time to remember.


Interviews will be broadcast over Valley Eye Radio's "I Remember When" series and will be archived by the Worthington Historical Society.  

Worthington History Corrections

The Official Worthington 250 Celebration Program contains a wonderful history of the town of Worthington based on records from the Worthington Historical Society and written by  Diane Brenner and Pat Kennedy.  


The Historical Society would very much like to hear from you if you find any errors, ommisions or other corrections.  The history appears on the Worthington Historical Society Web site and you may leave your comments and corrections there.
